Ardor Magazine is a digital vegetarian food magazine designed for an enthusiastic community that thrives on trying new recipes, learning about new cultural cuisines, asking others for advice, and using fresh ingredients. We performed a competitive audit on current food applications, researched various cultures and prominent cuisines, and conducted user testing for the app using prototyped wireframes. The application was designed to seamlessly combine individual user commenting within the traditional magazine reading experience. We curated a melting pot of stories that would span cultural boundaries.
A collaborative project with Gina LaRocca, Shelby Muter, and Melissa Benden. This project won second place in the Kent State University Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity in the Communications category.
