Alex Catanese is a graphic designer currently working as a Principal Designer at Each + Every, a multidisciplinary design and development studio working across print, digital, and environmental design in Kent, Ohio.

He collaborates alongside clients and designers on branding, design research, public arts, exhibition and experience design, and art direction. He has taught Motion Design, Information Visualization, Visual Design Literacy, Design Research Methods, and Introduction to Visual Communication Design as an adjust instructor at the School of Visual Communication Design at Kent State University and at the Department of Communication and Visual Arts at Grove City College, and has lead creative design workshops with college and high school students at Each+Every. His design work has been recognized by the International Society of Typographic Designers. He studied Visual Communication Design at Kent State University, graduating with a BFA in 2014 and MFA in 2017.

He lives with his wife Katey and son Arlo. On a day off, you might find them hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, or searching for the perfect taco.
